Just wondering if you've been feeling any effects from your blood type this month. I think I've figured out what is going on with mine and it is.....aggravating.

An odd desire to be around others.

[Most days, Maul has a very, very short list of people he can stand to be around.]

It's been a persistent urge for days now and has become quite aggravating.

For you, I imagine that is very odd.

I can't say I've been having those kinds of urges, myself.

Perhaps it is only a Vileblood effect. Have you had anything unique happen to you being a Paleblood?

The other day I was short with someone, and I accidentally shocked a plant.

You must have skipped over that little detail in all of our conversations thus far.

[Nope, he's calm, he's calm, he's repeating mantras in his head to ground him in the present moment. It wasn't like Imperius was right there in front of him using Force lighting, so he can endure this.]

I must not have felt it was worth mentioning. There's a fair number of Sith who can do it in my time.

I never learned from my master. He didn't want to give me an advantage should it have come down to a fight between us.

Why am I not surprised? The Sith of your time sound just as cutthroat as the Sith of my time.

I actually wasn't taught to use it. The first time it happened was on instinct.

[All of Maul's instincts scream at him anytime he sees lightning attacks. He'll have to first get over that if he ever wanted to learn how to wield it.]

I don't make a habit of shocking others all willy-nilly.

Though I feel I should apologize to Savage. I may have used lightning on him during a lightsaber battle recently. But, in my defense, I was feeling unusually aggressive due to Trench magic.

[Maul scowls at hearing what had happened to his brother.]

He may not hold that against you but I will.

[Maul's very protective of his younger brother, almost to an unhealthy degree.]

I was an angry Sith, and angry Sith don't hold back.

[As far as he's concerned, using lightning is a completely valid move when fighting a fellow Sith.]

Be sure to remember that if we ever face off. I'm always angry.

[Hence his near-permanent Sith yellow eyes.]

Gift Delivery - December 25th

[This year, Maul had decided to behave himself when it came to giving gifts, unlike in years past where he broke into people's houses rather like Santa himself did. All gifts are left on the porch or front step of the recipient's home for them to find in the morning.

For Darth Imperius, Maul had a vague idea of what he wanted to give him. He ended up sending him a shirt he'd found in a thrift store. He was also given a colorful knife. Accompanying it all was a note in blocky handwriting wishing her a Merry Christmas signed from Darth Maul.]
